Plasma Coating

PET film naturally has a good barrier against water vapor and oxygen, but not good enough for all food products. In collaboration with Vetaphone, the Danish Technological Institute will develop a plasma-coating technology that significantly improves the barrier. This must be done at normal atmospheric pressure and with equipment that is already used in printing houses.
