Food approval

It is important to get this whole system approved for food packaging. Half of all packaging in the world is used for food and in Denmark it is 66-70%. Therefore, in practice, large quantities of packaging cannot be recycled if the recycled plastic film is not food approved.

DTU Food will help the project's researchers find practical solutions to this challenge.
